Reflections of a North West Wedding videographer
What a year of wedding videography! It all started on New Years Day at Danielle & Gemmas Wedding at Rudding Park in Harrogate. And it will be ending in Hyderabad in India for my final wedding over New Year. Yet again I have had another incredible year capturing all the love, all the emotions and making new friends! I seriously couldn’t ask for a more fun job if I tried! I have literally been doing wedding videography all over the UK this year, I even got to go further afield to Gibraltar for Steven & Grahams secret Spanish elopement! I’ll tell you more about those monkeys next year.
Ten Years of Jo Gendle Films
2023 will see my 10 year anniversary since I started ‘Jo Gendle Films’ back in 2013. I don’t know where that time has gone but I often look back at the different showreels from over the years and marvel at how far I have come! I couldn’t have done it without you lovely people who put faith in me to capture your day when I was just starting out as a North West wedding videographer!
I’ve met so many lovely people, shared the emotions with them, pinned button holes, fed brides, set up a ceremony room, rescued a cake oh and stopped a ladies hair extension catching fire on a candle. To do this job you need to be passionate, creative, hard working and love people watching. Most of all you’ve got to love chatting to people which I do and telling bad jokes! I won’t apologise for them I know you love them.

As a North West Wedding Videographer I certainly get around a lot! Don’t know where I’d be without Google maps!
