Manchester Hall Winter Wedding video
2020 has got off to a great start beginning with shooting my first Manchester Hall wedding video for Danielle & James. Manchester Hall is one of the cities newest wedding venues after undergoing a massive refurb in 2017. This was my first time visiting the wedding venue and I loved it! I found that the modern interior design worked perfectly with the Grade II listed features. As I walked around the venue I kept thinking ooh I’d like that in my house and ooh what fab colours! Naturally all these elements combined makes for a super stylish wedding video shoot.
The area around Manchester Hall provides a really urban wedding feel to it also. You’ve got the river and the dramatic bridge over to the Lowry for a start. There’s the stylish Spinningfields and the vibrant Mojo square for people watching and night life.

Goulburn Suite at Manchester Hall
The morning started with bridal preparations in Bramhall. Danielle and her team of Bridesmaids looked absolutely knock out! As you can imagine the banter was fully flowing and these old school mates were knocking back the prosecco whilst Grandma was doing her best to avoid being on camera. On to the wedding ceremony which took place at St Anne’s church in Cheadle Hulme where James was eagerly waiting for his Bride.
After the ‘I do’s’ it was on to Manchester Hall for the reception in the Goulburn suite. The guests were welcomed with fresh oysters and plenty of drinks! It was great watching peoples faces as they necked the salty morsels back, a very original idea! The Goulburn Suite can cater for up to 200 people making it perfect for a larger wedding party in the city centre.

Now from the moment I met Danielle and James I could tell their wedding was going to be a good crack! They wanted something a bit different which is exactly what I do! They decided to have the guest message camera complete with Tequila shots. This was highly amusing watching people downing a shot and then trying to compose themselves to give a message. Danielle & James had a lot of friends who had a lot of lovely things to say about them.
Obviously there was a few comedians in the crowd, I quote: ‘Why did James drive Danielle off the cliff? Tequila (to kill her) just incase you didn’t get that one lol. Anyway the party got into full swing and I filmed some wild dancing! You can catch it all in the wedding video highlights film.
