Epic Albert Hall Manchester Wedding Videography

Jo Gendle Films / Manchester Weddings  / Epic Albert Hall Manchester Wedding Videography

So in April I had the pleasure of providing some Albert Hall Manchester Wedding Videography. Albert Hall is a proper standout venue in Manchester.  I have attended many gigs here over the years but never a wedding!  The building is filled with eye catching details from over the years, including vintage green tiles and spectacular stained glass windows. Those windows look beautiful around 7 pm when the sun is setting and shining through the venue.

When I first met Tom & Lily I instantly knew their wedding was going to be of epic proportion. They had every thing meticulously planned to provide the most exciting and stunning day! Hats off to the Bridesmaids who spent the day before the wedding preparing 3000 tulips! yes 3000! The Albert Hall looked simply stunning!

Once we got to the Albert Hall Tom was waiting nervously on the stage for his beautiful bride Lily to arrive. Lily arrived with her Dad who was definitely struggling with giving her away as he gazed on teary eyed at her. I love emotional Dads they always make me cry too.  Tom & Lily had an artist painting the ceremony from the balcony. Again another wonderful way of capturing the day!

They also had a musician performing ‘It must be love’ and ‘You’ve got a friend in me’, the alternative hymns they told me, loved it! Lily & Tom then proceeded to stop traffic outside the Albert Hall for a few photo’s. Your definitely allowed on your wedding day.

By far the most unique and surprising element of the day was when Lily got up on stage with the band. No one was expecting this as she belted out Meatloaf’s ‘I would do anything for love’ shortly joined by Tom to finish the final line ‘I won’t do that’. This was brilliant and if you’d been passing the venue you would have thought there was a secret gig on! The guests were in raptures of applause and proceeded to dance the night away.

Wedding video cinema screening

Most couples after their wedding day suffer with a wedding come down. You’ve been on such a high and now the day is over, so what’s going to top that? Well if your Lily & Tom then you arrange a private screening at the local cinema to showcase your wedding on the big screen. Obviously I jumped at the chance to go an see my creation at the light cinema in Stockport.

On the evening I was welcomed with Prosecco and popcorn to enjoy whilst viewing a photography slide show from Cassandra Lane Photography. Cassandra is an amazing photographer and one of my favourite people to work with. Following the wedding photo’s was a quick walk down to screen 15 for the main event. Judging by the whooping an applause I’d say everyone enjoyed the Albert Hall Manchester Wedding Videography.

‘Jo was simply amazing! from the moment we met her we had an instant connection and she got on board with every idea and suggestion we had for our Wedding video. We had such an amazing day with so much going on! Jo captured everything for us and even things we didn’t see or can’t remember! She also made us look  and feel like superstars! Thank you again Jo this is the best memory of the best day ever! Book her now it’s the best wedding investment we made for sure!
