Church in the sea
So in late June Caz and Dicky contacted me last minute to see if I was free to film their wedding. After hearing about their rather unusual day I jumped at the chance!
Caz and Dicky had chosen the ‘Church in the Sea’ near Rosneigr in wales for their wedding ceremony. At first I was like a church in the sea? I’m intrigued? Well what a wonderful little place for a wedding! They had the 50 guests packed in and the rest clustered outside joining in the singing and cheering. Meanwhile Caz made her unique bridal walk as her Dad led her across the stoney pathway (yes the tide was out phew!) and climbed the island steps. A quick change of footwear and the ceremony was in full swing both inside and out the church.
Something no one was expecting was a visit from a party of dolphins and whales that must have heard the commotion and come to have a nosey at the wedding. This was such a lovely moment! I don’t normally have the pleasure of dolphins on a wedding day!

The day continued at Caz’s Mum and Dads stunning home in Rosneigr where we literally had a party on the beach and watched the sunset. Caz’s Dad’s band were providing the music for the evening with a fab selection of old and new classics. Again another new one for me filming a first dance in a garage amongst surf boards and bikes! absolutely brilliant! the party vibe just didn’t end all day.

Caz and Dicky chose me after seeing another fun Wedding video I did in North Wales. They loved the fun relaxed feel of the film and especially setting the scene with the dramatic coast line and sunsets. They are both big surfers so the location of the day couldn’t have been better! I don’t think I’ve ever met such a chilled out couple it was all about the fun and laughter! which is exactly what a wedding day should be.

We booked our photographer about a year in advance but had a last minute change of heart about a videographer after a few of my married friends encouraged me saying they watch their wedding video all the time. Booking Jo for our wedding was the best decision we made! She understood what we wanted and captured our day for us to remember forever. I love watching it back and seeing all the bits I didn’t see on the day. She even brought Cat treats with her after she met my Arthur on webcam! Thank you Jo you were amazing! X
