Honestly… what a year of weddings captured. 2025 has been the best time, and I’m so grateful for every single wedding I’ve been part of. From the couples to the venues to the people I’ve worked alongside, this year has been full of moments that remind me just how lucky I am to do this job. 2025 also saw the announcement that my work was going to be screened on the BBC! Now that was a videography dream come true!
The biggest thank you has to go to the couples. So many genuinely lovely people trusted me to capture their day, and that never gets old. Every wedding felt different, personal, and full of real moments — the nervous laughs, the happy tears, the chaos on the dance floor, and everything in between. One moment that stands out is Lucys surprise voice note she played before walking down the aisle to Ben, honestly it caught everyone off guard and the tissues were doing the rounds I can tell you!
I loved how relaxed couples were this year. No pressure to perform, no forced moments — just being present and enjoying their day. That trust allowed me to tell their stories honestly, and those are always the films I’m most proud of.
2025 took me all over Manchester, Cheshire, and Yorkshire, and I was lucky enough to film at some incredible places along the way.
Mottram Hall was pure elegance — a stunning backdrop that always feels timeless on film.
The Love Shack brought all the fun and personality, proving that relaxed, alternative elopement weddings can still be incredibly emotional and cinematic.
Rylands Farmhouse was full of countryside charm and warmth, the kind of place that instantly feels like home.
Gorcott Hall delivered that classic, romantic country house feel with so much character throughout the day.
And Heaton House Farm… always a favourite. Epic views, beautiful light, and the perfect mix of laid-back and luxury.
Each of these venues had its own vibe, and I loved adapting my filming style to match the feel of every space.
One of my favourite parts of this year has been working with the best suppliers. Talented photographers, planners, florists, celebrants, bands — all bringing such good energy to wedding days. When everyone’s on the same team, it shows.
So many of those working relationships turned into real friendships too, which honestly made 2025 even better. The support, teamwork, and laughs behind the scenes were just as memorable as the weddings themselves.
Creatively, 2025 pushed me in the best way. I focused even more on capturing the real stuff — the quiet moments, the hand squeezes, the laughs just before the ceremony starts. The moments you don’t plan but end up meaning the most.
More than anything though, this year has just been fun. The best time.
And now 2026 is already creeping up. Dates are getting booked and enquiries are coming in, and I honestly can’t wait to see what next year brings. If 2025 is anything to go by, it’s going to be something special.
To every couple who booked me, every supplier who made days run smoothly, and everyone who welcomed me in like a friend — thank you. You made 2025 unforgettable.
